Our Story

For over 40 years, Elio’s Osteria has been bringing the flavors of Sicily to Carina, Brisbane. Founded by Elio and Margie Marinelli, Australians with a Sicilian heritage, our restaurant has grown from humble beginnings to become a local institution.

Our pizza dough is made fresh daily, inspired by scelta de capi (“grandma pizza”), and our homemade pasta sauces are crafted with love. Serving with only the freshest ingredients, we’re passionate about providing a true Italian dining experience.

Community is at the heart of Elio’s. We proudly support local schools, sporting clubs, and community groups and are committed to sourcing produce and supplies from local vendors whenever possible.
