So you might have noticed that it’s hard to get through on the phones at the moment. Just so you know that we aren’t sitting around having a glass of red and laughing it up, we are currently on our 14th attempt with telstra to get our phones working normally. Over the past three months they have cut us off, diverted our landlines to a message bank that we don’t own and cannot access, turned off our line hunt, lost our main number that we have owned for 37 years, and then found it again, no-showed for appointments, told me I’m crazy and that the phones are fine, to name a few. I have spent over 100 hours on the phone to them. They have hung up on me over 30 times because they can’t fix it. It’s costing us a fortune in money and morale, and my crew and me have been abused and screamed at by upset customers, including the c word, the f word and the t word (that’s right, worse than Telstra). Bear with us, we’ll keep smiling and trying to make you something good to eat. Paul and Nat and the crew
We are still waiting for the liquor licence, but you can BYO with no corkage, and there’s a BWS just next door.
We are finding our feet and keeping bookings well-spaced while we settle into our lovely new locale .. it’s a bit same same, hopefully we’ve captured the feel of the old place, just without the traffic noise.
Can’t wait to welcome you to our new home, we are delighted with the new shop, hope you are too. Paul and Nat and the crew.
PS. There’ll be a few small changes … we’ll be open Tuesday – Saturday 5-9 pm in the new place, so our Monday night couple’s deal will move to Wednesday.
